Which TVs have Anyview Cast?
Hisense televisions running VIDAA, which is most Hisense models sold since around 2014. It is not a separate app and there is nothing to install — it appears in the TV’s input list, or under Settings, then Network.
Hisense also sells televisions running Google TV, Android TV and, in some regions, Roku TV. Those models have no Anyview Cast at all. They use Chromecast built-in instead, which behaves quite differently. Two Hisense sets bought the same year can need completely different methods, so check which system yours runs before following any guide.
Is Anyview Cast on Samsung or LG TVs?
No. Anyview Cast is Hisense-only. If you have a Samsung or an LG television, you will never find it in the menus, because it is not a feature those TVs have.
This is one of the most common searches on the subject, and it comes from a reasonable confusion: Samsung and LG televisions do support the same underlying technology. Samsung calls its version Screen Mirroring or Smart View, LG calls its version Screen Share, and Hisense calls its version Anyview Cast. All three are Miracast wearing different badges.

Which Android phones work with Anyview Cast?
Only phones with a Miracast sender. Of the 8 Android phone families we track, 5 have one and 3 do not — and no app can add it.
Google removed Miracast from Android in version 6.0, back in 2015, and the code has been unmaintained since Android 9. Manufacturers who wanted the feature had to keep their own implementation.

If your phone is in the second group — a Pixel, or a current OnePlus or Motorola — Anyview Cast is a dead end. Those phones speak Google Cast instead, and a Hisense Google TV model will accept that happily. A Hisense VIDAA model will not.
How to use Anyview Cast
- Check the pair first. If your phone has no Miracast sender, nothing below will work. That is the step every other guide leaves out.
- Put both on the same Wi-Fi. Same network and same band. A TV on 2.4GHz and a phone on 5GHz will not find each other even though both report being online.
- Turn Anyview Cast on at the TV. VIDAA: Settings, Network, Anyview Cast - or the Inputs list. Google TV: no setup needed.
- Then start from the phone. Open your phone’s own cast or screencast control — Smart View on Samsung, Cast on Xiaomi, Screencast on OPPO and vivo — and pick the TV.
Do you need an app for Anyview Cast?
Usually not. If your phone and your Hisense TV both support Miracast, mirroring is already built into both devices and it costs nothing. An app is a convenience layer, not the thing that makes mirroring possible.
A third-party app is worth having when you have several devices on different protocols and want one list instead of three system menus, or when the built-in picker fails without telling you why. It cannot add a protocol your phone does not have — nothing in any app store can. We compared the two properly here.
Anyview Cast is not working
The first question is always whether the pair can work at all, because roughly half of the reports we see are hardware combinations that never could. Work through the causes in order — compatibility first, then network, then the TV setting.
What can I use instead of Anyview Cast?
Depends on why it is not an option. If your TV is not a Hisense VIDAA set, you want that brand’s own equivalent. If your phone has no Miracast sender, you want Google Cast or a cable. The alternatives, and when each one is right.

It needs both devices on the same Wi-Fi network, but the mirroring itself is a direct device-to-device link and does not use your internet connection.
